My eyes flutter open and I tiredly look up at him before wrapping my arms around my torso.

Barren

I smile at her and kiss her forehead. "Are you okay?" I ask.

Jade

I nod and lightly smile before running a hand through my hair.

Barren

I smile and lay my head back down, shutting my eyes.

Jade

I swear when I hear his roommate walk in, swallowing.

Barren

I jump up and toss her a shirt. I put pants on and head into the other room. "Hey man, please go outside." I say. He has a cheesy grin as he backs out.

Jade

I put his shirt on, leaving bottoms off, and walk out, his shirt like a dress on me before walking into the kitchen and nonchalantly making some coffee, "He can come in now."

Barren

I open the door and walk back over to Jade and trap her in my arms.

Jade

I glance back at him and smile, kissing his arm and yawning, "I am...so lazy right now."

Barren

I laugh and scoop her up and spin her around.

Jade

I laugh and shake my head at him, burying my face in his chest, "Your crazy."

Barren

I smile and set her down, kissing the top of her head.

Jade

I wrap my arms around my stomach and lean against the counter before hesitating to speak, "W-Were you wearing protection?"

Barren

I think and shake my head. "I just thought you were going to use birth control." I say, my eyes going wide.

Jade

I shake my head, "No...I don't carry around birth control pills in my pocket," I sigh, running a hand through my hair, "And I know your roommate has condoms so I thought you...d*mmit."

Barren

I sigh and grip her hand. "It will be fine. I will go pick some up right now." I say, grabbing my keys.

Jade

I hesitate before nodding, taking a deep breath and staying silent.

Barren

"Are you coming, or do you want to stay here?" I ask, walking to the door.

Jade

I bite my lip and nod, throwing on a pair of shorts and taking his hand again, "I'll come."

Barren

I nod and quickly kiss her cheek before we walk quickly to the car.

Jade

I follow him, smiling lightly and staying close.

Barren

I open the door for her and then jump in my side, heading to the store.

Jade

I look out the window, my hand holding his.

Barren

"I'm sorry, Jade. I was not thinking." I say.

Jade

I glance back at him, "Dont apologize. I'm over it. Lets just forget it. It's okay. I wasn't thinking either."
